"What we call 'tolerance' nowadays is often just condescending. It's often just saying, 'Okay, you believe what you want to believe, that's fine.' I get along so much better with fundamentalist Christians than with liberal Christians. Because fundamentalist Christians, I can look them in the eye and say, 'You are wrong.' And they'll look me in the eye and say, 'YOU'RE wrong.' And that, to me, is respect. The more liberal religious people who say, '...there are many paths to truth, you just go on and find your way'... that's the way you talk to a child."
